What you will do:
This position will serve in an unclassified status.
Independently facilitates office administration of Chief Executive Officer (CEO): provide administrative support to respond to programmatic & supplementary issues & needs of staff & consumers (e.g., response to correspondence &/or to facilitate specific assignments..) & coordinate daily operational flow of business, critique & encapsulate departmental reports (e.g., Fiscal, Continuous Quality Improvement, Support Services, Operations, Human Resources..); communicates decisions, directives & work assignments to appropriate departments & subsidiary staff; intermediary for CEO with outside agencies: Ohio Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services (OhioMHAS), various Union Representatives (e.g. FOP, OCSEA, 1199, OEA..), & families of consumers for resolution of relevant concerns; maintains Video conference scheduling and organizes on-site conferences as directed by CEO; independently formulates decisions &/or judgments involving non-legal interpretation of policies & procedures as they would apply to a given situation to resolve problems pertaining to the CEO.
Performs secretarial tasks (e.g., prepares confidential correspondence &/or reports; maintains confidential files; maintains calendar &/or makes travel arrangements for supervisor; takes & transcribes dictation &/or minutes of meetings; handles sensitive telephone calls; channels calls to appropriate parties for response.
Performs clerical tasks: answer, screen &/or forward incoming telephone calls, take messages, page staff, greet visitors; complete routine forms, copy/collate/distribute materials, fax confidential materials, order office supplies, setup & maintain confidential file system, complete routine forms, retrieve electronic & paper files, open/log/screen & distribute mail, prepare materials for mailing; maintains SBH policy database; attends mandated in-service.

30 mos. exp. or 30 mos. trg. in secretarial/administrative professional field.
-Or completion of associate core coursework in secretarial science or business office applications from accredited career school or community college; 12 mos. exp. in secretarial/administrative professional field.
-Or 12 mos. exp. as Administrative Professional 2,16872.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
