Schedule: FT / Shift: Day (Monday - Thursday 8a.m. - 4:30p.m. / Friday's 8a.m. to 3p.m.)

Job Summary:

The Administrative Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating project plans associated with the management, operations, and strategic initiatives of the Office of Academic Administration (OAA) and Academic teams. Manages and leads multiple projects from conception to completion. Collaborates with inter-professional teams on process improvement and project management activities furthering operational effectiveness, learning, and new program initiatives. Prepares and reports on research and documentation related to ongoing projects, timetables, and project status.
Represents the OAA and Academic teams as appropriate in partnership with internal and external business units, workgroups, or committees related to OAA functions. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility for maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Supports the SVP and leaders of the Office of Academic Administration (OAA) and academic teams with coordination of strategic initiatives.
  • Acts as liaison with OAA team and partners with leaders across the organization.
  • Supports department initiatives such as operational effectiveness, new program planning, cross-functional team meetings and events, divisional and strategic integration efforts.
  • Creates presentations and reports to support information sharing from the OAA to Administrative and Academic
    leaders.
  • Works with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and align communication plans for initiatives; coordinates support for online updates and audits to effectively streamline appropriate communication for leaders.
  • Maintains awareness of project or initiative status and communicates potential delays or concerns that may affect project outcomes.
  • Works with inter-professional teams to orchestrate support for academic operations.
  • Maintains records related to vendor/consultant work, invoicing, payment, and contracts.


Qualifications
What Will You Need:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in business or academic industry, matrix environment
  • 2+ years' experience and/or training in project coordination/management.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
  • 3+ years' experience in business or academic industry, matrix environment
  • Experience working with diverse work teams
