Responsibilities

• Demonstrates effective management/leadership skills in the area of primary responsibility and in all facility activities.
• Evaluates potential residents referred to facility for admissions.
• Acts as liaison between residents/families and facility to answer questions and solve problems that arise.
• Actively markets facility and its programs and services to a variety of referral sources by developing and maintaining contact for the purpose of referrals in order to meet budgeted census and mix.
• Participates in the planning, organizing and implementing of the facility's Public Relations functions.

Requirements

• Empathy and the capacity to care for the resident's social, emotional, physical, and mental concerns.
• A team player who is adaptable to modifications in the day-to-day operations to meet the needs of the facility.
• Bachelor's Degree in Social Services, Humanities, or related field.
• Prior experience in admissions and/or marketing within the health care field preferred.
