Insight Global is looking for a detail-oriented medical coding candidate to be an inpatient coder at a healthcare system in Florida. This candidate will apply the correct codes to patient charts for data collection, analysis, and claims processing. This candidate needs to maintain an information retrieval accuracy ratio of 97% and meet the quality assurance rate of 95%.

Required Skills & Experience
High School Diploma/GED
3+ years of experience as an inpatient coder
- Exp can be from Hospital, Urgent Care, Acute care, or ECC (Extended Congregate Care)
Strong understanding of ICD-9/10 and CPT codes
Certifications held form American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA)
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) - OR - certification by American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) as a Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC).
95% Quality Assurance (QA) accuracy rate
