Shift : Monday thru Friday 8am-4:30pm.

The role you'll contribute:

Under general supervision, is responsible primarily for CT and MR Imaging studies that require advanced processing after image acquisition. Follows AdventHealth protocols building complex three-dimensional images. Assists the department educators with the Quality Assurance program. Acts as a resource for all CT and MR staff related to departmental processes, protocols and equipment issues. Establishes and maintains professional working relationships and good rapport with referring physicians, radiologists, hospital campuses and staff. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Processes all exams, as designated by the 3D Imaging Laboratory, using ADVENTHEALTH 3D Laboratory protocols. Processes exams with a high level of productivity. Follows through after completing named STAT exams with communication to appropriate departments.

  • Proficiently utilizes all types of post-processing software in the lab.
  • Reviews studies for quality. Communicates quality issues with performing technologists. Consults with Radiologists regarding quality issues. Educates and provides support to scanning technologists for technical and quality issues.
  • Acts as a resource for all CT and MR staff for questions related to processes, protocols and equipment issues.
  • If required, performs technologist QA for designated modality.
  • Assists in training of new 3D Laboratory technologist as assigned


Qualifications
What you will need to succeed:

Required:
  • Minimum of three years of CT and/or MR experience
  • Current valid State of Florida license as a General Radiographer
  • ARRT (R) AND
  • ARRT (CT) OR ARRT (MR)
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of diverse backgrounds
  • Computer skills to include programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Preferred:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's in Radiological Science
  • PACS experience specific to AGFA
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • In-depth understanding and knowledge of CT or MR protocols
  • Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Problem-solving skills
