System One is currently seeking an experienced Advanced Manufacturing Engineer - Electrical for a direct hire opportunity in Bridgeton, MO.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop hardware, software, and user interface for custom factory test stations, which may include C/C++/C#, LabVIEW, QT, and Python.
  • Design, program, and troubleshoot factory automation systems using PLCs, HMI, and robotic cells.
  • Generate schematics and drawings for control systems.
  • Perform pneumatic assembly and electrical wiring.
  • Oversees equipment builds, qualifications, and implementations.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers at all manufacturing sites.
  • Investigate new technologies for manufacturing process needs.
  • DFMA analysis of both new and existing products
  • Provide technical advice and support for AME and R&D Engineering.
  • Assist in troubleshooting existing production equipment.
  • Other assignments as deemed appropriate by the supervisor or manager.
  • Occasional travel (to Mississippi) required as needed to support project deployment; varies between 10-20%.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Controls Engineering, or other related field
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in a similar role required. 3+ years of professional experience preferred.
  • Broad understanding of programming and hardware
  • Experience with standard programming languages like C/C++/C#, Python, etc.
  • Experience creating GUI apps using LabVIEW or QT.
  • PLC, and HMI programming and diagnostics experience.
  • Strong leadership skills working in a collaborative environment.
  • Proven Project Management experience.
  • Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience assisting with NPIs.
  • 2D AutoCAD and schematic creation.
  • Powered holding and test equipment design experience.
  • Experience with robotic and automated cells, preferred.
  • Experience with 3D CAD software, Creo preferred.
  • Capital equipment procurement experience, preferred.
