Position Highlights

• Collegial multispecialty group practice with a large referral base.
• Physician-led, patient centered team-based care environment.
• Independent practice with strong affiliation with local tertiary care hospital that provides a full range of gastroenterology medicine.
• Primary office location will be Lakewood, NJ.
• Full-time; Flexible Monday - Friday scheduling, during normal business hours, no weekend hours.
• State-of-the-art equipment including the EPIC EMR system.
• Collaborative practice / team-based care.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform specialized tests to diagnose and treat patients In collaboration with GI physicians, assist in the performance of endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures
• Examines patients in clinic, hospital rounds and performs surgical procedures as needed
• Consult with patient's primary care physician and other specialists

Required Qualifications:

• Board Certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• Unrestricted medical license in the State of New Jersey or has New Jersey medical license application in process.
• Active and unrestricted DEA License (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• Active New Jersey CDS license (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• Previous clinical work in Gastroenterology office setting highly preferred.

New Jersey Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $114,784 to $154,951 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
