The Opportunity

SSM Health Dean Medical Group is actively recruiting a full-time (.8-1.0 fte) Advanced Practitioner to join the Family Medicine department at our Baraboo clinic. The Family Medicine team has an amazing team of 12 physicians, 6 residents, & 5 advanced practitioners.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Day hours, Monday through Friday
• Outpatient-based practice with no call responsibilities
• Opportunity to perform outpatient clinical procedures

• Opportunity to collaborate with Baraboo Clinic Family Medicine Residency program physicians
• Opportunity to precept Advanced Practitioner students

The Hospital

• The Baraboo Clinic is adjacent to SSM Health - St. Clare Hospital, a 27-bed facility with 24-hour, Level 3 Trauma Center with ER coverage, Hospitalists coverage, full lab & pathology services, and an average of 300 deliveries/year
• The ICU consists of 6 beds, and the hospital contracts with the UW for e-ICU telemedicine

The Community

Baraboo, a picturesque community of just over 10,000, is nestled in the rolling hills of Sauk County in South-Central Wisconsin, and is located just 40 miles north of Madison and very close to Devil's Lake State Park & the Wisconsin Dells area.

The region has some of the most beautiful natural geological scenery in the Midwest. Towering sandstone layered bluffs are available in abundance. Devil's Lake State Park & Mirror Lake State Park offer nature lovers opportunities for camping, swimming, hiking, kayaking, & canoeing. Baraboo is the home of the Circus World Museum, the former headquarters & winter home of the Ringling Brothers Circus. The Ringling Theatre is an active landmark for the area.
