ADVANCED REGISTERED NURSE PRACTITIONER - ARNP

CRHC is looking for a full time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to work in our Mental Health Clinic.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Responsible for ADVANCING EXCEPTIONAL CARE through the provision of psychiatric treatment services to individuals, families, groups and communities using a care model which emphasizes health promotion and client education and encourages self-responsibility. Working in collaboration with the Clarinda Regional Health Center (CRHC) Medical Staff, the ARNP provides diagnostic, therapeutic and management functions using protocols or guidelines developed by the individual service/program in accordance with the philosophy, goals and objectives of CRHC.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience

• Master's degree in nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing
• Minimum four (4) years clinical experience as an RN in a related healthcare setting

Certificates, Licensure, Registrations

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Iowa
• Certificate to practice as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) issued by the Iowa State Board of Registered Nursing
• ANCC Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner
• Basic Life Support (BLS) (or willing to obtain within 60 days of employment)
• Mandatory Reporter of Iowa Certificates (Dependent Adult and Child Abuse) (or willing to obtain within 60 days of employment)
