ToyotasTMNA Manufacturing Project Innovation Center is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Advanced Technology Engineer.

The primary responsibility of this role is to research, try and bring to a proof-of-concept different technologies that can revolutionize manufacturing across Toyota with high focus on Extended Reality and data engineering.

The person in this role will support the different PE and NAMC shops to achieve their objectives by the implementation of new technologies that can facilitate or improve the operations and support manufacturing production changes.

• Work collaboratively with other teams.
• Build scalable and efficient technology for the different manufacturing groups.
• Identify new extended reality technologies.
• Collaborate with the MIT group to define the future of XR in Toyota Manufacturing.
• Build relationships with assigned Production Engineering departments and Toyota Plants to understand their business priorities and help identify their technology project needs.
• Develop and manage projects which impact the division annual business plan.
• Lead business case development for projects to secure financial and human resources to study, develop, or implement technology solutions.
• Be a primary lead interface between assigned Production Engineering departments and internalexternal technology resources.
