Position Summary

The Advisor, HR Compliance & Governance will be responsible for ensuring adherence to HR legal standards, compliance and policies. This role will play a critical role in maintaining the second line of defense by ensuring HR initiatives, activities, policies, and processes comply with applicable laws and regulations. Support the People function in maintenance of Affirmative Action Plans, adverse impact analyses, and other requirements of Federal Contractor compliance.

The Advisor, HR Compliance & Governance will work as an integral part of our HR Compliance, Mobility and Immigration department, assisting our People team to deliver on policy administration, record keeping, governance, compliance and support to internal clients across every aspect of our People strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities 1
  • Assist on delivering on Federal contracting responsibilities including Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) compliance
  • Conduct review and analysis of required reports for AAP purposes
  • Coordinate data gathering for reporting efforts as needed
  • Conduct periodic audit on key HR data review and deliver on compliance requirements
  • Assist in delivering regulatory reports including EEO-1, CA Pay, VETS, OFCCP and others
  • Liaise with vendors/consultants for regulatory process being the point of contact HR team
  • Work closely with key stakeholders, including Procurement, Technology, Finance and General Counsel aligning HR requirements on contracts and vendor management
  • Monitor current policies and processes to ensure compliance with regulations and laws
  • Assist team in gathering and preparing data for internal audit requests
  • Assist team in all aspects of HR regulatory and compliance review
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in HR Compliance or as an HR generalist
  • General knowledge of affirmative action principles and regulations
  • Advanced MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Data entry and data analysis (Excel advanced preferred)
  • Strong ability to manage cross-cultural diversity in the workplace

Location and Reporting
  • This is a hybrid in-office/remote role which can be based in our New York or Tampa office.
  • This role reports to the Manager, HR Compliance & Governance.
