Test Automation Engineer

Location: Local to New Haven, CT - MUST BE LOCAL AND ABLE TO GO ONSITE 5 DAYS /WEEK

Interview Process: 1-2 rounds

I would suggest using buzzwords such as, " RFID, WiFi, Zwave, and/or Zigbee networks, PCB, schematics, C#, hardware testing, etc."

Your role will involve software and hardware development for intricate embedded products. You'll be at the forefront of designing, developing, and deploying cutting edge automated test projects, ensuring sustainability of complex legacy design projects.

• Spearheading software and hardware development of product functional test and configurations.
• Designing, developing, and deploying new automated test projects.
• Sustaining complex existing legacy test projects.
• Conducting data analysis and implementing corrective actions to ensure product quality and test integrity.
• Thriving in a team-oriented environment with collaboration is fostered.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Must hold a minimum of 2 years of work experience coding in C#. c# is a must have. Building out the automation in C#
• Firmware/Hardware background is a must have
• Knowledge of lab instrumentation use
• Electrical board
• Hands on skills for prototype development of test process hardware using software and hardware

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Testing Hardware/ Software (Embedded / PCB /Hardware - Software)
• Demonstrated knowledge of commercial design and testing tools such as SolidWorks, Altium, LabVIEW, Visual Studio and/or Test Stand.
• Familiarity with other tools such as SVN, GIT, Agile and JIRA.
• Knowledge of Arduino, Flash Programming, BLE, IEEE488, RFID, Wifi USB and/or serial communications.
• Experience developing test solutions
• Experience developing Test solutions for complex products
