Kavaliro has partnered with a client who is seeking an Agile Transformation Coach for a long-term contract opportunity.

DUTIES:
  • Be an active Scaled Agile Program Consultant (SPC) 6 with experience delivering and certifying SAFe 6 courses using SAFe Collaborate: SA, SP, RTE, SSM, SASM, SDP, APM, LPM, POPM, ARCH, ASE, SGP
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership to institute ORK framework for measuring progress and effectiveness at all levels
  • Help drive adoption of end-to-end Agile transformation strategy with Lean-Agile ways of working and SAFe as a cornerstone
  • Advise on operating models and transformation governance
  • Be a certified AgiltyHelath Facilitator (AHF) and perform AgilityHealth maturity assessments & recommend strategies to address growth items
  • Expert in coaching, training, and mentoring roles from leadership to teams on their respective functions within SAFe
  • Act as role model embodying Agile values, principles, and demonstrating success patterns
  • Actively facilitate and coach LPM and ART events
  • Support Agile tooling administration, strategy, and adoption: SAFe for Enterprise, AgilityHealth, Atlassian Cloud Enterprise (Jira/Confluence), etc.
  • Help identify and coach champions within functional areas who can evangelize Agile and act as local mentors/coaches in their area
  • Develop Lean-Agile training materials and deliver content for and to both existing teams and the onboarding of new talent
  • Help launch and mature Communities of Practices and interaction/pollination across DT and the business
  • Raise recurring/widely observed issues and bottlenecks to stakeholders; develops and implements comprehensive solutions.
  • Coach organization through change, helping identify and attack organizational impediments which limit team productivity and quality
  • Help develop and monitor metrics to track Agile adoption and maturity to aid in accelerating overall Agile transformation efforts
  • Create an environment that values and promotes autonomy, skill mastery, empowerment, transparency, innovation, learning
  • Foster a fail-safe, fail-fast environment where experiments lead to the best solution
  • Promote lean thinking principles such as reduced cycle times, limiting work in progress, reduced batch size, understanding of flow, identification of waste/inefficiencies and leading remediation efforts.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • SAFe 6 Practice Consultant (SPC) Certification & Enablements
  • 6+ years' experience coaching agile teams
  • 5+ years of experience working in engineering, IT, or a related field
  • 3+ years' experience guiding Agile portfolios, product lines, and budgeting
  • Experience transitioning waterfall Project Management Lifecyle to Agile Product Delivery in complex, highly regulated environment
  • Experience with 2 large scale (150+ people impacted) Agile transformation efforts
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, AgilityHealth, SAFe Enterprise
  • Proven ability to think strategically, and to communicate strategy to large organization
  • Substantial experience with Waterfall, Scrum, Agile, Kanban, SAFe, XP, DevSecOps
  • Familiarity with infrastructure concepts to facilitate delivery of DevOps components of the Agile Transformation
  • Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Active engagement in external agile and product communities with a network of professional contacts outside of the organization
  • Quarterly Travel for PI Planning events along the Northeast corridor
  • Must be able to operate in a virtual environment
