Brief Overview:
The AI Implementation and Integration Architect - Supply Chain Automation is responsible for leading the design, development, implementation, and integration of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to automate and optimize MRC Global's supply chain operations. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven process automation, evaluate and select appropriate AI technologies, and oversee the successful integration of AI systems into the company's existing supply chain infrastructure and processes.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in AI/ML development, implementation, system integration, and solution deployment
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
- Strong understanding of AI/ML algorithms, frameworks, and best practices for supply chain automation
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies
- Expertise in system integration, API development, and data exchange protocols
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, AI, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Experience in the energy, industrial, or logistics sector
- Knowledge of data engineering, data pipeline management, and data governance
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines
- Certifications in AI/ML technologies (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, AWS Certified AI/ML Specialty)

Key Duties/Tasks:
- Collaborate with supply chain stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-driven process automation and optimization
- Design and architect AI solutions for supply chain automation, including batch processing, invoice automation, and workflow optimization
- Evaluate and select appropriate AI technologies, tools, and frameworks for supply chain use cases
- Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of AI models and applications for supply chain automation
- Ensure the successful integration of AI systems with existing supply chain infrastructure, data sources, and business processes
- Develop APIs, data exchange protocols, and integration frameworks for AI system interoperability within the supply chain ecosystem
- Establish best practices, standards, and guidelines for AI development, deployment, and integration in supply chain operations
- Monitor and optimize the performance of AI systems, addressing issues and implementing improvements
- Stay up-to-date with emerging AI trends, technologies, and industry best practices for supply chain automation
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and support to cross-functional teams
