A Fortune 500 aerospace and defense company is seeking a Cybersecurity Model-Based Systems Engineer to join their team in Fort Worth, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting engineering drawings from 3DX and other sources and translating them into a SysML-based design using MagicDraw/Cameo. You will develop cyber metamodels related to design, create attributes for verification, develop system functional requirements from stakeholder expectations, allocate requirements to sub-systems/hardware/software components, validate and verify system requirements, troubleshoot and resolve system integration/verification issues, and coordinate with internal and external teams to execute project/design plans and reviews.
Additionally, you will develop and execute test cases and procedures to verify the system under test, provide technical leadership and guidance on project planning, conduct reviews, develop metrics, track progress, forecast development processes, manage risks and opportunities, and mentor and train team members on the application of SysML techniques and skills.
This position is onsite in Fort Worth, Texas, with a 9/80 work schedule, providing every other Friday off

Required Skills & Experience
At least 2 years of experience in designing and implementing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) structures.
Proficiency with MBSE tools such as EA Sparx, IBM Rhapsody, Cameo, MagicDraw, and STIX, as well as Configuration Management (CM) tools like SVN, Clearcase, Git, and Dimensions.
Familiarity with DoD aerospace engineering processes, including requirements definition, allocation, validation, verification, integration, software, FAA/EASA/DoD certification, and system safety.
Experience with cyber metamodels.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
A collaborative mindset, with the ability to interact effectively with other engineering product teams.
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering OR other related Bachelors degrees may be considered with MBSE experience
