ALA -Marketing & Development Mgr
Affordable Living for the Aging (ALA) has been in operation for 45 years and supports the Los Angeles community with permanent supportive housing programs and case management support for healthcare and housing. ALA launched its VISTA program in 2023 to assist in building capacity in many areas of the organization. We have assembled a highly-skilled VISTA team spanning programs and operations. ALA seeks a Marketing and Development Manager to support and further develop the organization's infrastructure, creative services, and operations for marketing and fund development. The position will expand awareness and revenue streams by cultivating public, private, and individual donors through outreach, advertising, and fundraising activities.
Member Duties : -Expand marketing campaign opportunities to create awareness and revenue streams for ALA through production of PSA spots and social media campaigns, Facebook and Google advertising, and creative services -Build awareness through email marketing - develop platform automation, grow funder database, develop fundraising campaigns, and review metrics. -Research media opportunities for ALA, create talking points and supporting communications. -Partner with Marketing teams to develop multi-platform campaigns to drive awareness, enrollments, and donations for ALA. -Contribute to development efforts by researching grant and funding opportunities, positioning ALA for various grant opportunities, and developing grant proposals under the direction of the Chief Development Officer. -Research budget and overhead for the intended use of grant funds, track expenditures, and support future grant opportunities through the ongoing development of Development CRMs and tools (templates).
