A customer in the Herdon, VA area is looking to hire an Alternate Contract Program Security Officer to join their team. This person will be reporting into the Director of Industrial Security and working alongside the Contract Program Security Officer to oversee fully onsite on a 9/80 schedule. They will be supporting the implementation of all requisite national security directives with specific emphasis on the U.S. Government Industrial Security Programs. Their main responsibilities will include analyzing and resolving classified security issues, providing guidance to employees and contractors, ensuring compliance with security programs, administering security procedures, managing access control systems, and overseeing classified documentation. Additionally, they will establish secure facilities and maintain records related to security activities.

Required Skills & Experience
- Secret Clearance with eligibility to upgrate to a TS as well as SAP and SCI accesses
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
- 6 plus years of Security Specialist experience
- A complete and thorough understanding of established policies, procedures, and practices for safeguarding National Security Information
- Demonstrate ability to manage internal and external record management systems (i.e. DISS, DIAS, NISS, ACCS, SIMS, JADE)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Completion of FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities IS030.CU and COMSEC courses as well as access control (Lenel) database experience
