The Spirit of the Position:

The Parking Ambassadors are the frontline personnel responsible for greeting, engaging and interacting with all customers, assisting with troubleshooting electronic payment method, providing EXCELLENT customer service and maintaining a high-level of engagement through out customer interactions.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Lot / Facility Operations:

  • Assisting guests with pay to valet cellphone technology
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Troubleshoot equipment


Customer Service:

  • Promote good customer relations by consistently providing exceptional customer service with a professional and friendly demeanor, positive attitude, and willingness to help at all times.
  • Resolve customer service issues or questions as needed or refer the situation to a supervisor for resolution.
  • Meet and greet customer with courtesy and great customer service.
  • Understand how to handle the different types of customers and where to direct them.

Skills:

  • Adhere to dress code - Must be able to work outside in any weather conditions (rain, snow, wind, heat, etc.) and be able to continuously stand for extended periods of time (3-6 hours)
  • Follow all safety standards.
  • Communicate with management and supervisors.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
  • Must be open to feedback, differing opinions and other points of view.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness.
  • Demonstrate the ability to seek improvement.
  • Excellent teambuilding and interpersonal skills.


Experience:

  • 1 year in a customer service role - Preferred
  • Experience handling cash, conducting monetary transactions.
  • Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience working in outdoor/extreme weather conditions preferred.

Other Assigned Duties:

  • Reporting of all incidents in accordance with company policies

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift, push and pull at least 25 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
  • Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
  • Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
  • Ability to work all Events as scheduled.
