Manages the cost change intake process across Sourcing teams, finance, and category teams. Essential functions include being an expert in Microsoft Flow and SharePoint, data validation, and performing impact analysis of cost change proposals that are critical for our internal stakeholders to use in negotiation planning.

Supports standardization through best practices and tools across Sourcing teams to establish "best way of working" across teams, create uniform presentation of data, processes, and centralize supporting activities.

Reporting activities includes pulling key financial reports as well as establishing and sharing best practices, templates and timely presentation of information that is required for Sourcing Analysts and Category Managers to build negotiation plans in service of cost mitigation. Examples of information this role will provide include (but not limited to): cost impact analysis, validation of cost information prepared by the suppliers, feasibility analysis of should cost model. Intake support includes the ability to communicate cross functionally with internal stakeholders and supplier partners. Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC , Chicago, IL, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME, Hyattsville, MD. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis until the end of their appointment

Essential job functions:
  • Support the execution of managing cost change intake process on behalf of sourcing teams. Understanding of the source, purpose and communication to multiple stakeholders.
  • Provide expertise to the organization with regards to Microsoft Flow and SharePoint capabilities required to effectively manage the cost change intake process
  • Support, develop and build impact analysis for Sourcing and Category Managers.
  • Support and execute ad hoc requests, analysis, mapping systems and improving user experience.

Qualifications:

Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft suite of tools.
Skills:
  • Strong research & presentation skills (both developing & delivering)
  • Demonstrated strength in communication skills
Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
Experience:
  • 2+ years of related reporting experience in Sourcing, Negotiating, Category, & vendor management experience
  • Customer Service experience
