  • High School diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a payroll support role
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a payroll support role and a Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field may be accepted in lieu of three years experience
  • Demonstrate experience with PeopleSoft in the general areas compensation, payroll and HRIS
  • Proficiency in the use of computers and software with operation including word processing, excel spreadsheets, pivot tables, V LOOK up and databases
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to organize data from multiple sources
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, both orally and written
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality

The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Attendance at conferences and professional development is required. Work involves everyday risks and discomforts which require normal safety precautions when operating equipment or performing job duties. May work prolonged or irregular hours and must be able to maintain emotional control under stress.

  • Work on very detailed employee pay tasks and projects for long periods while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. Work is performed in offices, workstations and meeting rooms.
