This position is part of the Digital Customer Experience (DCX) team within Travel and Lifestyle Service. DCX is a dynamic part of the TLS organization, focusing on the end-to-end digital customer experience, encompassing the pre-booking, booking and post booking journey across AmexTravel.com, and 15 International Amex Travel websites.

How will you make an impact in this role?

As an Analyst on the DCX team, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and optimizing our digital customer experience. You will be responsible for managing web analytics, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), owning tagging requirements, and driving data-informed improvements across our digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Web Analytics Management: Own the integrity and accuracy of web analytics data. Collaborate with technology engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation and maintenance of Adobe Analytics, ensuring precise data collection and reporting.
  • Tagging Requirements: Manage and oversee the implementation of tagging requirements across digital properties. Ensure that tags are correctly implemented and that data collected aligns with reporting and analytical needs.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to user behavior, website performance, and marketing effectiveness. Proactively generate and present reports that provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of complex datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and performance anomalies. Translate these insights into strategic recommendations to enhance the digital customer experience.
  • A/B Testing and Experimentation: Lead the planning and execution of A/B tests and other experimental approaches to evaluate the impact of new features and optimizations. Use test results to make data-driven decisions and refine strategies for improving user experience.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Analytical Expertise: Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and solve complex problems, with a talent for translating data into actionable insights.
  • Adobe Analytics Proficiency: Extensive experience with Adobe Analytics, including its implementation, management, and reporting capabilities.
  • A/B Testing Experience: Proven experience with A/B testing methodologies and tools such as Optimizely or Maximizer, with a strong track record of leveraging insights to drive improvements.
  • Tagging Experience: Experience managing tagging implementations and ensuring that data collection is aligned with analytical and reporting requirements.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex data challenges and solutions to various stakeholders.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Expertise in analyzing conversion-focused metrics, customer journey mapping, and understanding the role of marketing channels in driving traffic and conversions.
  • Adaptability: A proactive, "can-do" attitude with strong ownership of responsibilities and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Passion for Travel: Genuine enthusiasm for travel and a commitment to enhancing the digital customer experience.


Qualifications

Salary Range: $60,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
