  • Associate's Degree
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • High school diploma with one to four years of equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement
  • Certification in MCDST, MCP or relevant A Certification or Apple Certification preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of business experience in support of desktop/mobile computing along with associated multimedia peripherals and software in a Windows/IOS environment
  • Experience with mobile devices such as notebooks, tablets and smart phones
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Skill in installing and integrating classroom/administrative application programs
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service track record
  • Ability to express thoughts and ideas effectively in orally and in writing in English
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical users effectively
  • Experience with remote access tools and network client connectivity preferred
  • Experience with trouble ticket management system preferred
  • Experience in an enterprise environment preferred

The position requires occasional walking, standing, sitting, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting/carrying work related items weighing less than 40 pounds, such as books, papers and presentation materials. The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Attendance at conferences and professional development is required. Work involves everyday risks and discomforts which require normal safety precautions when operating equipment or performing job duties. May work prolonged or irregular hours and must be able to maintain emotional control under stress.

The noise level in the classroom/administrative environment is moderate. Work involves considerable standing, moving and lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. This position requires mobility to continuously move computers and associated equipment. As systems must remain operational, all personnel in this position may be called upon to provide service and/or support at various times.
