Job Title: Analytical Chemist

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Pfizer senior scientist in day-to-day tasks.
• Conduct sample preparation and assist instrument analysis/troubleshooting.
• Assist running experiments and data acquisition.
• Assist data processing with instrument vendor's and Pfizer in-house software.
• Capture data into Pfizer e-notebook and assist data archiving.
• Help to maintain instrumentation and bioanalytical consumables inventory.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• BS in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or relevant disciplines
• Knowledge of separation science and/or instrument analysis particularly in LC/MS
• Computer literacy, and competency with word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, etc.
• Fast learner of new skills and attention to details.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Training and experience in analytical lab with any of the following - HPLC, mass spectrometry, sample preparation/purification for either large or small molecules
• Demonstrated scientific knowledge (e.g. GPA) and/or skills to maintain high level of performance
