Molex is seeking a n Analytics Solution Engineer to join our team . This role works closely with cross-functional groups in our data and analytics organization including Research & Analytics and Enterprise Data Management . This role will also collaborate with our development teams comprising of analysts , data engineers and data scientists.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead development activities from a position of technical expertise . Provide guidance and technology thought leadership for quality execution and timely delivery of ad hoc analysis, self-service analytics , and advanced analytics solutions , like predictive and pres criptive analytics .
  • Manage the support lifecycle of insightful analysis products and digital solutions to meet prioritized business needs.
  • Review solution architecture implemented in projects and ensure designed architecture meets industry standards and quality gates.
  • Building statistical models to utilize the data pipeline by analyzing current and historical results of business activity and transactional data to identify actionable opportunities, develop ideas, and make recommendations to improve business performance.
  • Be accountable for and execute projects by working with o ur extended global delivery team and liaising with other cross-functional / capability teams . Coach less experienced team member s on business knowledge & technical knowledge sharing as well as process improvement.
  • Work with data and analytics groups across divisions and functions to streamline and bring efficiencies via division of labor by comparative advantage.
  • Be comfortable to work in a fast-paced, demanding business environment.
  • Participate and facilitate technology transformation for next level analytics and identify intelligent o pportunities to unlock the value of data through generat ing insights that effectively guide the business .


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • A Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Engineering Sciences, or a related e xperience in analytics and data technologies with increasing responsibilities .
  • Advanced technical skills in one or more of the following areas involving Data processing and analysis: SQL querying ; R and/or Python; VBA .
  • Advanced technical skills in Data warehousing, modeling, ETL, security and performance tuning . Streamlining data prep processes to ensure timely and reliable data.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (ex: v-lookups, formulas, pivot tables, create reports) and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience with SAP, Snowflake and AWS technologies
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and PowerBI , including server and technical administration activities
  • Experienced or demonstrated knowledge with M achine L earning / A rtificial I ntelligence applications including statistical and machine learning concepts. ( e.g., hypothesis testing, correlation analysis, regression analysis, time series forecasting, and predictive modeling)
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Master's Degree in a related field of study
  • Familiarity with core business function s , underlying processes and KPIs.
  • Experience of working within a Global Business Services model and DevOps tools
  • Experience in data mining and data science development
  • Experience with Power Platform , sematic layers, custom web apps, mobile development, Fiori , etc.
