Position Purpose
1. Provide accurate accounting and fiscal review of externally funded grants, projects, and contracts.
2. Coordinate with the Manager, General Accounting the annual independent audit for KMOS -TV ( CPB )
3. Responsible for alerting the Manager, General and Ancillary Accounting to complex accounting issues and aid in their resolution.
4. Prepare the Year End Audit Schedules of assigned external Audit Work Papers.
5. Responsible for the performance of general accounting duties as directed by the Manager, General and Ancillary Accounting and/or the Director, Accounting Services
Education & Formal Training
Bachelor's degree (Specify field(s) of study below)
Other Education & Formal Training
Accounting, Finance or related field required.
Computer Skills
Word-Processing, Spreadsheet, Presentation, Other - ERP System, Desktop Publishing
Experience
1. Five (5) years of progressively more responsible accounting experience required.
2. Experience in higher education/fund accounting preferred.
3. Previous Sponsored Programs Administration experience preferred
