Job Description:
We are seeking a full time, credentialed veterinary technician to join our anesthesia team. Our techs have a passion for anesthesia and pain management. They work closely with services to provide anesthesia to patients undergoing procedures and play a key role in training veterinary students and other veterinary technicians in the nursing skills specific for anesthesia.
What will I do?
Our technicians start with a Monday-Friday 7:15-4:15pm, in order to attend rounds with our veterinary students.
After training, the schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with a one hour lunch, including on-call responsibilities as needed on weekends.

Expected Salary:
$22 - $30, salary dependent on anesthesia experience

Credentialed Veterinary Technician.

Job Description:

What will I do?
- Provide anesthesia to small and large animal patients undergoing procedures and deliver high quality patient care under the direction of an anesthesiologists.
- Reviewing and interpreting a multitude of information to provide an evidence-based approach to the care of the patient, continually monitoring patients to detect changes and intervene proactively to prevent complications.
- Work closely with specialty services to ensure cases are being handled safely and efficiently.
- Shape future veterinarians and technicians on veterinary care, specially anesthesia, through one-on-one training with our diverse student and staff population.
