Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Senior Developer for a contract opportunity with one of our largest clients located in Charlotte, NC!

Title: Angular/Python/AWS Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid schedule)

Duration: 12+ Months

Role Type: W2 contract engagement

Job Description

We are looking for someone who loves a challenge in building new digital, innovative products. This position requires a developer who can think creatively about digital solutions for business partners' problems and build products that add value to both internal and external users/customers. This self-motivated Senior Developer would be able to lead, mentor, code, present, iterate and deliver digital products.

Technologies:

• Angular 9+ (minimum 4+ years)
• Experience with Python (2+ yrs)
• Serverless lambda, S3, Amplify, AppSync, Cloud Front and Route53 solutions, Cognito
• Relational Databases (SQL Server)
• NoSQL Databases (DynamoDB)
• Developing and testing RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• Continuous Integration platforms such as Concourse, Jenkins, CodePipeline
• Cloud native platform experience (AWS) - min 2 years
• JIRA
• Bitbucket/GitHub
• SSRS
• Terraform

Nice to have:

• Kafka
• Utility Experience
• Data Engineer Experience

Skills:

• Ability to communicate clearly and speak up when presented with challenges
• Demonstrated success in complex problem solving and an understanding of quality delivery.
• Experience with migrating to the Cloud
• Comfortable with New Product Development (building from an idea/concept)
• Experience with database design
• Researches, evaluates and implements new technology to optimize application efficiency and usability.
• Designs new functionality based on product backlog priorities and coordinates development efforts in collaboration with durable product team and cross-functional organizations
• Maintains records to document system and programming development and revisions.
• Leverages CI/CD automation and best practices to deliver quality solutions to our end users
• Applies iterative development to continuously deliver value through frequent deployments
• Comfortable with demos to leadership and other teams
• Ensures adherence to appropriate design, coding, and cybersecurity standards.
• Experience with paired programming / group working sessions
• Ability to build products in Agile methods (Scrum and Kanban)

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. In lieu of a degree, 8 years of related technical development experience.
