Animal Laboratory Technician

Piper Life Sciences is seeking a motivated Animal Laboratory Technician to support a biopharmaceutical company in the Lansing, MI area.

Responsibilities of the Animal Laboratory Technician:

• Handling small animals in a controlled laboratory setting
• Perform technical and record keeping tasks associated with animals
• Collect blood samples from animals through various methods
• Perform daily care of animals including feeding, watering, cleaning of cages
• Operate autoclaves and cage washers

Requirements for the Animal Laboratory Technician:

• 0-1+ years of animal handling experience
• Associate's or Bachelors Degree in science related field (preferred, not required)

Salary for the Animal Laboratory Technician:

• Salary: $16.00 - $19.00 hourly
