The Role:\r

As an Antenna Design Engineer, you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative consumer products. You will work closely with an internal inter-disciplinary team and outside partners to drive key aspects of product definition, design, optimization, implementation and test. You must be responsive, flexible, attentions to details and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.\r

In this role, you will be responsible for the development and integration of Antenna systems into products, including:\r

- Define antenna concepts and requirements during product definition\r

\r

- Lead antenna design, optimization, implementation and validation across product programs\r

\r

- Identify, debug and resolve system level Antenna-RF issues\r

\r

- Achieve all regulatory and performance goals for OTA performance\r

\r

- Support the operations team for Antenna manufacturing test\r

\r

- Support the sustaining team for Antenna sustaining and field issues\r

\r

- Work within a project team and take responsibility for the WiFi, BT implementation Characterize and debug desense and EMI issues to meet requirements\r

\r

- Mentor team members.

\r

- This position will require international travel\r

Key job responsibilities

- Innovate and Design miniaturized antennas covering 600 MHz-7 GHz for Amazon products

- Develop and optimize the Antenna design processes- Take an antenna design from concept tlo Manufacturing for Echo frames, Ring and Blink products.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent

- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production

- Experience with the project management of technical projects

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $213,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
