ANTICIPATED LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE PART-TIME TEACHING ASSISTANT

LOCATION: Smallwood Drive School

HOURS: 16.5 Hours/Week

START DATE: September 18, 2024 through October 17, 2024 (tentative dates)

SALARY: $18.50/hour

DESCRIPTION:

This Long Term Substitute Teaching Assistant position is in a First grade classroom. The Teaching Assistant will assist with routine classroom functions, assume teacher responsibilities, conduct classroom activities and assist with required paperwork in classrooms.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • TEACHING ASSISTANT CERTIFICATION OR NYS TEACHER CERTIFICATION PREFERRED
  • Experience working with elementary students preferred (K-5)
