Role Overview: The Product Applications Technician (Onsite - Fremont, CA) is responsible for performing in-depth analysis of Nextracker products and the associated processes.

Role Overview: The Product Applications Technician (Onsite - Fremont, CA) is responsible for performing in-depth analysis of Nextracker products and the associated processes.
Key Characteristics:
- Self-motivated and independent with strong technical aptitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Adaptable in a dynamic environment with a rapidly growing customer base and expanding product offerings.
- Proven ability to follow management directives and solve complex problems during all testing phases.
- Manage Form-Fit Function tests, including data collection and report generation.
- Utilize measurement tools such as tape measures and calipers.
- Assist with projects and test setups in the R&D yard.
- Conduct testing in the yard or at project sites and collect relevant data.
- Oversee all testing and construction activities related to testing.
- Test individual product parts and build sections of new products in the yard.
- Occasionally travel to vendor and project sites as needed.
- Provide customer service and support in a dynamic environment.
- Validate new designs and parts from new vendors.
- Review installation manuals and procedures to ensure product compliance.
- Replicate customer-reported issues in the R&D yard for troubleshooting.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Coordinate requirements and priorities across different teams.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in product testing.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting product drawings.
- Ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds.
- Proficient with basic hand tools.
- Familiarity with Arena and Jira.
- Knowledge of CAD/SolidWorks is plus.
- Extensive knowledge of Nextracker products is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in testing and reporting.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when necessary.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data clearly.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
- Customer-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills to handle customer feedback and provide solutions.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in product testing and quality assurance.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols in all testing and construction activities.
