Description:

The Application Security Business Analyst will serve as a subject matter expert across Tenet's Application Security processes and Identity and Access Management tools. This role works closely with Tenet stakeholders (i.e. Information Systems Departments) and third party vendors to streamline and enhance Identity and Access Management capabilities and processes. The individual will have specific responsibilities to gather business and application access requirements and work with the technical teams to manage project implementation efforts, including stakeholder communications throughout the project life cycle.

The analyst will report to the Manager of Application Security, contributing the Cybersecurity team and work from the Tenet Corporate Headquarters in Dallas.

OTHER REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES
  • The individual will serve as a subject matter expert and business process lead to the expansion of identity and access management program.
  • Program goals include consolidating and streamlining identity and access management capabilities and processes.
  • The individual will have specific responsibilities to gather business and application access and maintenance requirements across business functions and IT, and then work with project team to develop a solution that will meet these needs. Contribute to building process expertise and ownership of solution within the IAM team.
  • Participates in the delivery of security- related technology implementation activities in accordance with agile project management methodologies.
  • Work with the leadership team to understand and document existing operational processes and technical solutions for access management.
  • Consult business and IT users to gather functional requirements for access management needs covering the following topics: governance, administration, self-service, attestation, and reporting.
  • Work with the project team to evaluate all requirements and define the future-to-be solution for the access catalog design and access self-service and approval workflow processes.
  • Contribute to building process expertise and ownership of solution within the IAM team.
  • Perform testing activities for a developed solution to ensure solution meets specified requirements.


Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in supporting IT security technology solutions and\or services in a complex IT environment.
  • Experience and expertise in supporting or developing IAM processes within an organization including Identity Governance, Access Management, Identity Management, Access Certification
  • Experience in participating in large scale technology implementation projects.
  • Experience in providing wide scale technology support services.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining effective relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Team player and ability to collaborate with extended teams across IT and various business functions.
  • Solid understanding of Active Directory.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 3 years experience in supporting IT security technology solutions and\or services in a complex IT environment.
  • Bachelor degree preferred.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), HCISPP and/or other security certifications preferred.
  • Healthcare IT related experience preferred.
  • Solid understanding of Active Directory.
