The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Application Security Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of our applications and systems by implementing best practices and identifying potential vulnerabilities.


Responsibilities

• Perform security assessments and code reviews of our applications and systems.
• Develop and implement secure coding practices and standards across the organization.
• Identify, analyze, and document security vulnerabilities and risks.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure security is integrated into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Develop and maintain security tools and scripts to automate vulnerability detection and remediation.
• Identify software supply chain risks, design and implement mitigations.
• Assist design teams in developing secure connected systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in application security or a related field.
• Strong understanding of common application security vulnerabilities and their mitigation strategies (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Ruby, Python, GO)
• Knowledge of security tools and frameworks (e.g., Burp Suite, SourceGraph ZAP).
• Familiarity with common application security testing methodologies (e.g., SAST, DAST, IAST).
• Industry certifications such as OSCP, CISSP are a plus.

Expected Compensation

$104,000 - $360,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
