Application Support Programming Specialist (Plano or Houston)

Experis/ManpowerGroup has partnered with a leading Financial Services organization for an Application Support Programming Specialist to assist their team. This will be a Dynamic Work Model.

Job Title: Application Support Programming Specialist
Location: Hybrid from Houston, TX/ Plano, TX
However, we are not considering candidates who plan to travel for extended periods.

Required skills:

• Incident and Problem Management: The candidate should have a strong background in managing incidents and problems, including tracking issues and resolving them effectively. This includes experience with incident management processes, problem management strategies, and a track record of handling production support issues.
• Application Monitoring and Resiliency: Experience in application monitoring is crucial for maintaining the state and supportability of production systems. This skill includes understanding and implementing monitoring tools and practices to ensure application resiliency, performance, and uptime.
• DevOps and Scripting Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages (such as Python, Perl) and development practices (including REST APIs, JSON, SQL) is essential. This skill set supports building, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex systems and integrating with various technologies. Experience with IDEs and version control systems also falls under this category.
