JOB LOCATION: This is an on-site position located in Atlanta, GA

JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for preparing and delivering training program(s), ongoing end user support for their respective application(s) where needed, and executing plans for usability program. This may include on site support, and classes or support outside of normal business hours. Training methods may include classroom instruction, web-based learning, remote instruction, one on one coaching, and a variety of written materials. Trainers will create and adapt instructional materials for different audiences, provide feedback on necessary improvements to curriculum and any learning obstacles identified. User support may include both on-site support, and remote support when needed. Trainers will prepare and support users for upgrades, significant system changes, operational initiatives that require application support. All Trainers play a role in the continuous improvement of training related products and services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Establish and maintain critical business relationships with Piedmont co-workers, physicians and others who utilize Piedmont approved applications.
2. Obtain and maintain EPIC credentialing in assigned application modules.
3. Monitors and reviews the progress of end user training by using questionnaires and through discussions with organizational managers.
4. Enhance instruction and training program based on feedback and current best practices.
5. Conduct technology software classes and in-service sessions, Train-the-Trainer classes, and other PHC application training presentations.
6. Assist with identification and resolution of specific training problems, either on a one-on-one basis or in groups.
7. Develop and communicate training status reports and other project presentation materials as needed.
8. Responsible for assisting with the development and/or coordination of content delivery, course scheduling/coordination, course education and certification management of system approved applications. Responsible for assisting with the oversight of all training facility management including the construction, technical infrastructure, and all devices used in the delivery of these services.
9. Meet regularly with Principle Trainers and Application teams for training coordination updates.
10. Participate in on-going review and update of training curriculum and content.
11. Support software upgrades.
12. Provide support for key operational initiatives (e.g. telehealth, referral management).
13. Develop and maintain training plans as required to assist with the implementation of new technologies.
14. Assists with the management of the overall application training schedules for the organization.
15. Assists with Go-Live events both in the command center as well as location support.
16. Participate remote and location support when needed.
17. Other functions required as assigned.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Three (3) years of experience in healthcare information system training or related field.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree is preferred.
