Innova Solutions is seeking an App Programmer Interface/Visualization analyst for a client in Alexandria. This is a Government Account - Must have at least an Interim Secret Clearance.

Title: Application Programming Interface/Visualization Analyst
Location: Alexandria, Virginia (Mark Center)
Type: Contract-to-Hire

Job Description:

• Support the Resource Enterprise Services (RES) for Program Resources and Information Systems Management Division (PRISM), for the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation (CAPE) as part of the Select and Native Programming (SNaP) Team.
• Maintain business applications that support the planning and programming phases of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process and prepare material and guidance for such applications. PPBE is the Department of Defense (DOD) process for allocating resources.
• Work in an IT development environment focused on engineering analysis and creation of technical solutions for DoD clients. Recommend, design, and integrate into existing web applications relevant and robust analytics and visualization tools based on customer requirements.
• Customize web-based interactive features and standardize across a variety of web-based applications.
• Formulate, develop, and deploy intuitive interface features in web applications to improve the user experience.
• Maintain database compliance, which includes coordinating and ensuring product cybersecurity compliance.
• Modify existing code as required by changing systems requirements or equipment configurations.
• Provide technical direction or perform complex analyses individually or in coordination with team members.

Required Experience/Skills:

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or other related scientific or technical discipline and at least 10 years of relevant experience or a master's degree with 8 years IT experience or a PHD with 6 years of IT experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply these skills to identify and resolve anomalies in system design, as well as in system functionality and performance.
• Ability to successfully interface with many levels of client management, set priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and integrate well with an established development team.
• Experience in developing APIs using JSON and XML
• Experience with Python and R analytical languages
• Experience with MS Power BI and MS Power Apps.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required DoD Clearance:

• Interim DoD Secret clearance.

Required Certification:

• DoD 8570.01-M Level II IA certification (Security+) or able to obtain within 30 days of start.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $70- 75 /hr W2
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
