Global e-commerce business team hopes to provide users with more tailored and efficient consumption experience, enabling merchants to receive reliable platform services in different scenarios such as live e-commerce, short video content e-commerce, so as to make more affordable and high-quality products sell easily and a better life within reach.

E-Commerce's Governance Platform is a global team dedicated to ensuring a safe, trustworthy, and ethical marketplace for our buyers, sellers, and creators. We constantly strive to enhance risk detection capabilities, promote fairness and sustainability within the e-commerce ecosystem, and maintain high standards for content and product quality.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the principal technical leader for the Governance Platform R&D organization, partner with senior engineering leaders to make key decisions, plan strategies, and drive execution, serving as a trustworthy consultant for org-level initiatives.
- Lead and drive the organization's critical long-term technical roadmap and ensure the successful execution of initiatives.
- Define technical direction for the org by designing sustainable systems, frameworks, and patterns that scale and drive business impact.
- Mentor and develop other engineering leaders, upholding a high bar of engineering excellence.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Proven expertise in distributed systems, storage systems, and other relevant technologies.
- Hands-on experience leading large, cross-functional initiatives with exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Proven problem-solving skills and abilities to think strategically and make sound technical decisions.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience in a technical leadership role, preferably as a tech lead or equivalent, in a fast-paced, high growth tech environment.
- Proven history of effective technical execution and leadership.
