AR/Collections Specialist

An outdoor advertising company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in the San Antonio, TX area to join their team working a hybrid schedule (2 days in office/3 days remote). They will contact customers or their representatives to resolve past due balances and negotiate mutually beneficial payment agreements where necessary and follow up in a timely manner. On a daily basis, they will be doing business-to-business collections activities within their assigned portfolio accounts to get invoices paid. This person will work closely with the billing and credits teams and will be instructing clients how to make payments to their accounts. Before reaching out to clients, they will be expected to research any roadblocks for individual accounts regarding outstanding payments or credits. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills and the ability to multitask and navigate through several programs including, but not limited to, SalesForce, Workday, Get Paid, BillTrust, Excel, Outlook, etc.

This is a contract-to-hire role paying $15-17/hour based on experience.
