Job Overview:
As an Area Commercial Equipment Sales Executive, your primary responsibility is to promote and sell class 5 - class 8 semi-trucks to potential clients. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, providing product information, and effectively communicating the features and benefits of the trucks offered by the company. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, negotiating deals, and achieving sales targets. This is a Monday - Friday, first shift position.
Earning potential: $85,000 - $125,000/year (Unlimited Commission Program and Volume Bonuses; initial base salary is between $40k - $50k/year, based on experience)
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Understand customer needs and preferences to provide tailored solutions.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Actively prospect and generate new leads through various channels.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase truck features and benefits.
- Stay updated on the latest truck models, features, and industry trends.
- Provide detailed and accurate information about the trucks to customers.
- Conduct training sessions for customers on the operation and maintenance of the trucks.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with customers to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
- Prepare and present sales contracts, ensuring all terms are clearly defined.
- Close sales deals and facilitate the delivery process.
- Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities and challenges.
- Stay informed about competitors and market trends to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and communications.
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, progress, and challenges.
- Work closely with the sales team, service department, and other relevant departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Provide feedback to the management team on customer needs and market trends.
- Proven experience in truck sales or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of trucks, their features, and the transportation industry.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Associates or Bachelor degree preferred
- Ability to hold technical conversations with independent owner/operators, business owners, transportation managers and municipality officials.
- Intermediate experience with Google products (Sheets, Docs, etc.) preferred
- Mechanical understanding enough to learn specifications of complex, customizable equipment.
- CDL required, or willingness and ability to obtain.
