ARI Reading Interventionist, Attalla Elementary School - Position funded by grant from ALSDE

REPORTS TO

Principal

QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Alabama Professional Educator Certificate in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, or Special Education Collaborative
  2. Master's Degree AND Mastery Status in LETRS Early Childhood and/or LETRS K-12
  3. Minimum three years of successful teaching of reading or content areas and good classroom management
  4. Experience providing intensive, targeted intervention utilizing and approved dyslexia-specific intervention program (form the current or previous ALSDE approved lists) as a classroom teacher, special education teacher, English Learner, or reading intervention teacher
  5. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
  6. Employment pending acceptable background check
