Aseptic Process Engineer

Provide technical expertise and process guidance in aseptic liquid processing and packaging. Drive operational excellence by ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, and accurately to enhance Safety, Quality, Reliability (SQR). Demonstrate strong leadership and embody core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of aseptic product strategy.
• Create detailed engineering and design plans for aseptic food products (dairy, juices, blends, concentrates, pastes).
• Optimize, troubleshoot, and maintain aseptic manufacturing lines to improve quality, productivity, and safety.
• Develop conceptual process and packaging designs to enhance existing or new aseptic product portfolios.
• Manage multiple projects, defining resource allocation, budgets, timelines, equipment, and materials.
• Evaluate and present innovative equipment and technology solutions.
• Conduct process analysis of existing technologies and systems.
• Perform feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses.
• Attend industry events to identify new aseptic processing and packaging technologies.
• Integrate personnel, food, and regulatory safety requirements into all solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local engineering codes and regulations.
• Adhere to established programs, policies, and practices to produce safe, high-quality products meeting regulatory and industry standards.
• Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of aseptic dairy process experience.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive engineering experience in food/beverage manufacturing and dairy processing.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills with a solid understanding of engineering disciplines, plant operations, and construction.
• Ability to travel extensively (approximately 75%).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Proven ability to develop and execute plans to achieve project goals.
• In-depth technical expertise and application knowledge of aseptic processing and packaging.
