Qualifications:
  • Current Alabama Teacher's Certification (preferred) or classified dependent upon qualifications of the person holding the position
  • Previous experience in sports as a participant and/or coach (preferred) but not required
  • Completion of all requirements set forth by the AHSAA Coaches' Education Program
  • Must have or be willing to obtain CDL

ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
  • Assist in the coordination and supervision of the track program and team
  • Ensure that all athletic activities conform to AHSAA guidelines
  • Knows effective safety procedures in their sport, plans and implements a program of instruction in safe practices
  • Assists the Head Coach in scheduling and making travel arrangements when asked
  • Board Approved Stipend $1,000.00
