OVERVIEW

As a P&C Assistant Client Manager your primary responsibility is to serve as the day-to-day service assistant on a book of business under the direction of the assigned Commercial Lines Account Manager and other team members as to maintain a prominent level of client and internal team satisfaction. Which will result in high retention rates and growth of the assigned book of business.

This position must demonstrate good judgment and be able to address all types of customer service issues with decisiveness. In this position, successful candidates need to have adaptability, attention to detail, initiative, and strong listening/communication skills to work in a team-based environment. This position works very closely with CL AM and other agency staff to support, maintain, and grow the organization.

General:
  • Adhere to all agency operational policies/processes to ensure client satisfaction and delivery of quality service to manage and meet unique client needs.
  • Set up and maintain accurate and complete client data in client relationship management database (CRM), including documentation and management of action items and client communications according to procedure.
  • Service and support to clients, carriers, and other agency partners
  • Follow all company and regulatory requirements regarding the labeling, filing, management, and retention of hard-copy and/or electronic records, according to procedure.
  • Carry out any other duties/responsibilities/projects as determined by company leaders and other team members.
  • Maintain the highest level of security and confidentiality regarding corporate and client-related information.
  • Stay informed of industry changes and product offerings.
  • Attend training and meetings held by the agency and other partners.
  • Be familiar with and follow agency and industry E&O guidelines.
  • Maintain electronic and/or paper files in an orderly, up-to-date manner.
  • Manage Incoming Email, Calendars, Tasks (Outlook) efficiently.
  • Manage Incoming Phone Calls
  • Manage and Keep Current Daily Activities through Client Management System.
  • Manage any other requests through other channels, including paper mail.
Specific:
  • Direct Support to Commercial Lines Account Manger on the existing book of business and new business opportunities
  • Check new and renewal policies for accuracy in rating, typing, forms, coverage, signatures, etc. Update management system accordingly. Ensure these items are delivered to the client in a timely manner, with the Support of Account Manager and ResourcePro
  • Process Change Requests
  • Process Endorsements and any applicable invoices as a result
  • Process Audits and any applicable invoices as a result
  • Mange daily Carrier Document notifications, pull documents from carrier websites. Handle/Process the documents where applicable. Set up workflow/distribution of those documents amongst the team as needed.
  • Issue Proofs - Certificate, Evidence, Auto ID Cards
  • Review basic lease and other contracts for insurance terms and verify compliance with existing insurance program, with the help of the AM. Help identify recommendations for changes to ensure compliance between insurance program and contract.
  • Assist with claims - help obtain claim information, report, and follow up with the carriers and clients to ensure handled and closed in a timely manner with the support of AM and Resource Pro.
  • Assist CL AM in handling and processing new and renewal commercial lines business as instructed, as needed.
  • Collaborate directly with clients, as needed, by phone, electronic platforms or in person in a professional manner to manage service needs.
  • Order Loss History Reports and other claim data reports as needed - prepare summaries as needed.
  • Perform Agency and Direct Billing Activities as applies to policy transactions on client accounts.
  • Premium Finance Contract - create contracts as needed through finance co websites and assist AM in execution as needed.
  • Provide online carrier website and rating support for new, renewal and changes, as needed.
  • Help identify cross-selling and account rounding opportunities with current clients, as the opportunity presents itself in the daily service of the account.
  • Assist AM in receivable collections as you do your daily work on accounts.
  • Assist AM with check requests for client refunds, carrier premium payments as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance experience.
  • Experience with Management Lines of business (D&O, EPLI, Professional, Cyber) is a plus.
  • P&C License required.
  • Continuing Insurance Education activities are viewed favorably.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience with Applied EPIC and other integrated platforms such as INDIO is preferred, though not required
  • Ability to Multitask, Delegate and Manage workloads and meet deadlines
  • Be responsible, organized and a self-starter.
