The Assistant Coach of Men's Soccer will be responsible for assisting the head coach in providing leadership and direction for a highly competitive NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) Division I athletic soccer program.

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Significant or extensive professional-level experience or specialized expertise with Men's Soccer.
• Skills or competencies directly related to the sport through previous playing and/or coaching experience.
• Goalkeeper training experience.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in the instruction and coaching of student-athletes and the ability to transfer technical and tactical knowledge of the sport of soccer through positive coaching and teaching methods, in individual and team instruction.
• Demonstrated leadership skills gained through prior playing and/or coaching experience and the ability to lead small and large group discussions.
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in a variety of software applications including Microsoft Office Suite 365.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's Degree in a field directly related to the position.
• Collegiate-level playing and/or coaching experience.
