NOW HIRING: Assistant Dietary Director

Responsibilities of an Assistant Dietary Director :
  • Assists RNs and LPNs with services necessary in caring for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of residents/patients as assigned.

Qualifications of an Assistant Dietary Director :
  • Assist the Dietary Director in planning, organizing, and supervising the day-to-day operations of the dietary department.
  • Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure the development and implementation of nutritious and appetizing menus that meet the dietary needs of residents.
  • Monitor and assess the nutritional status of residents, working closely with healthcare professionals to address individual dietary requirements.
  • Train and supervise dietary staff, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards, as well as proper food handling and storage procedures.
  • Participate in the hiring process and orientation of new dietary team members.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dietary department.
  • Assist in budget management, inventory control, and ordering of food and supplies.
  • Stay informed about current trends and best practices in nutrition and dietary services.
  • Maintain documentation and records related to dietary services and resident care.
