Description of Work
This position would be responsible for the Office of Admissions campus visit program. This includes supervising 2 professional staff directly and indirectly. This position will help set the strategy connected to the campus visit experience, determining needs to run a successful operation, creating new programs when appropriate and thoroughly assessing the effectiveness of these initiatives. This position will also be responsible for hiring, training, scheduling and assessment of UNL's current student tour guide program. The position will work collaboratively with UNL faculty, staff, and current students to ensure tour guides provide high quality, accurate campus tours. Serve in customer service role by responding to phone, email, and in-person contact with campus partners. Provides individual and group presentations for prospective students and answer current and prospective student inquires via phone, email, or in person. Position requires many nights and weekend hours.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus Two years' experience within undergraduate recruitment. Assisting students, parents, guardians, school counselors or teachers with inquiries around undergraduate admissions standards, process and policies. Experience working with college students, leadership development, education, youth development, or related field Must have excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills Public speaking experience Ability to handle numerous projects and details simultaneously and accurately. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office software. Ability to relate to people of all ages, academic abilities, and cultures. Undergraduate recruitment policies, procedures and process. Ability to work independently and with little or no supervision, little or no clerical support. Must have a valid driver's license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
Planning or coordinating campus visits and/or events for prospective students. Extensive campus involvement as an undergraduate and enthusiasm representing UNL to the public. Supervision experience. Experience with sales, marketing, or advertising. Familiarity with UNL s High School and College Relations operations and procedures. Knowledge of the state of Nebraska and its challenges amongst under-represented populations. Extensive knowledge of UNL . Experience in the event planning/hospitality industry
