Job Description:

Student Engagement: Serve as a career coach to advance University of Florida students' career design and professional development. Customize career navigation tools and resources to advance students in their career decision making, readiness and post-graduation success. Facilitates individual career coaching appointments, drop-in services, digital career support and group career coaching to UF undergraduate, professional, and graduate students based on industry-specific knowledge.

Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate external career development programming and outreach to student organizations, campus partners, employers, staff, and faculty to promote career development, career pathway navigation and the resources offered by the university to support positive career and post-graduation outcomes. Partner and have presence with stakeholders in specific units to leverage and enhance the career success ecosystem prepare students for success. Facilitate industry participation in educational activities such as workshops, panels, events, and conferences. Work with the Industry Engagement team to connect students with industry. Exchange information related to student engagement, career development, industry trends, and academic learning to support career and professional development.

Programming and Resource Development: Develops and customizes career and industry education programs, workshops, content, and tools to advance student in contributions in work, citizenship, and life. Lead signature programming and experiences within career center including industry institutes, career treks, mini-conferences, and other customized industry educational programming. Creates content for career navigation and candidate career management. Set best practices procedure for career and professional development.

Career Center Initiatives: Plan, lead and execute center-wide initiatives that align with the Career Connections Center's strategic priorities to advance career and professional development at the university. Connects with stakeholders to enhance student experience and initiative engagement. Creates resources and programming that can be customized for different populations surrounding the initiative. Collaborate with Career Connections Center staff to lead and carry out projects, events, and assignments.

Data, Storytelling and Reporting: Track, report, and communicate outcomes of projects to various Center stakeholders including students, alumni, faculty/staff, and employers. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of employment trends, higher education, and appropriate career development expertise. Performs other administrative duties as assigned by the Associate Director and higher authorities in the department and division. Attends staff meetings, conducts meetings, and shares the C3 and/or university's career services impact, investments, etc. Represent the career center and leadership in key meetings and specific areas.

Expected Salary:

$60,000 annually.

Minimum Requirements:

Master's degree in an appropriate field and three years of experience or a bachelor's degree and five years of related experience.
