Job Summary/Basic Functions

To assist the Director of Financial Aid in processing and authorizing financial aid for students while providing exemplary customer service with an emphasis on the Federal Loan & Grant Programs and Private loans.

Required Experience:

Experience in financial aid or multiple years in a college/university.

Additional Considerations:

Skilled working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Strong commitment to excellence through demonstrated accuracy, knowledge and skill. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Experience using Ellucian Banner Financial Aid module. Experience with ELM or other Private loan processing system. Two or more years of experience working in a postsecondary environment preferably in financial aid.

NASFAA certification in various financial aid modules
