Job Description
1. Develops and plans programs consistent with the philosophy and objective of the school.
2. Participates in management decisions and makes recommendations on curriculum development, selection and evaluation of text and reference materials for didactic and clerical instructions.
3. Develops objective of particular courses, prepares outlines and materials and teaches course content.
4. Reviews, evaluates and revises course content to reflect the latest trends and developments in the appropriate health care field.
5. Directs, supervises and evaluates teaching staff and makes appropriate recommendations regarding improvement of their performance in instruction.
6. Establishes and maintains relationships with professional or community groups, college and technical schools and governmental agencies.
7. Participates in facility organizations and serves on committees, as directed.
8. Performs all other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or designee.

Minimum Qualifications
1. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited university or college, and three years of related experience in education, technical and administrative methods and procedures in the field of specialty; and,
2. Membership in a recognized professional society for the discipline and/or New York State license, registration or certificate in the field of specialty; or,
3. A satisfactory combination of education, training and experience
