The DoubleTree Williamsburg is a property owned and operated by Shamin Hotels, Central Virginia's largest hotel management company. Having tripled in size to 76 hotels over the past ten years, we own and operate hotels under the Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, InterContinental and Choice flags.

Responsibilities

The AGM is responsible for managing daily hotel operations and providing leadership in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. You would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Lead all operations, training staff, guest champion and service recovery to ensure positive experience for all guests, assists in staffing and processing paperwork for new hires, reviews employees performance and handles personnel actions including disciplinary measures
• Ensure guest and associate satisfaction
• Monitor and develop team member performance, particularly the executive team and department heads, providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward
• Recruit, interview and train associates

Qualifications

We are looking for experienced candidates with a successful track record and proven success in building a positive service culture:

• 3 years of AGM, Hotel Manager, or equivalent experience
• Strong people leadership
• F&B background
• Local market experience would be highly beneficial
• Hilton brand experience is strongly preferred
